In a momentous event held at the downtown Coley Hall at the Liberty in Elkin, NC, on evening of February 24, 2024, the Elkin community witnessed the union of the Blue and Gold Alumni Scholarship with the Elkin Academic Enrichment Foundation (EAEF) to establish the Elkin Educational Foundation (EEF). The organization marked a significant milestone by unveiling its new merge, website, and logo which brought together community members, Elkin City School board members, alumni, current employees, and various stakeholders in a joyous celebration of this educational advancement.
