Welcome to Curriculum & Instruction.

My name is Heather Pardue and it is my pleasure to serve as Elkin City Schools Director of Curriculum & Instruction.  Elkin City Schools has always been an academic leader among area schools and the state.  My position focuses on fostering the growth, development, and achievement of all students within Elkin City Schools preK-12.

Elkin City Schools promotes total district and school improvement  by providing academic, behavioral and social-emotional learning opportunities to all students.  Elkin City Schools teachers are committed to building trusting relationships with their students while promoting nurturing classroom communities that foster rich academic experiences.

I am committed to working closely with district and school-level leaders to build a system that meets the needs of all students. I am a graduate of Elkin City Schools, a mother, and happy to be home.  It’s always a great day to be a Buckin’ Elk!
