Haley Sullivan
Board of Education Member
Haley Sullivan was sworn in as a member of the Elkin City Schools Board of Education on December 9, 2024, representing the East District. A former board member, Ms. Sullivan brings valuable prior experience and a deep understanding of the district’s mission and community.

A licensed clinical social worker associate, Ms. Sullivan holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work, Administration, and Supervision from the University of New England and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Western Carolina University, with a concentration in School Social Work. Her professional background includes working with diverse populations in areas such as trauma, substance abuse, domestic violence, and child advocacy.

Ms. Sullivan is passionate about serving others and brings a compassionate, student-centered perspective to the board. Her experience in mental health and social work makes her a strong advocate for the well-being of students, families, and staff. Elkin City Schools is proud to welcome her back to the Board of Education.
