Choral Christmas Concerts
The month of December brings different feelings and memories for all of us. Our service in song through concerts allows my students to give to the community joy and light.
Our Middle School Chorus presented a concert on December 6th titled: “Jingle Bell Jukebox” that was a lighthearted look at the holidays with fun songs and carols.
Our Elkin High School Chorus students will be performing December 17th at The Reeves Theater in a sold out show titled “Holiday Magic.”

I recently heard it quoted that someone will walk into a concert hall broken and in low spirits. It’s how well we perform our craft that will determine how healed they are when they leave. Here’s hoping that our work is healing to all who come and hear us sing!

This week’s WIFM “Spotlight on Elkin City Schools" is recorded by Mrs. Tonya Smith, Vocal Music Teacher of Elkin Middle School & Elkin High School and is sponsored by State Farm Insurance and your local State Farm Agent, Mr. Steve Owings.
