Welcome to the School Nutrition department.

My name is Jayme Robertson and I am proud to serve as the School Nutrition Director for the Elkin City School System. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree followed by a Master of Science degree at Appalachian State University. I am a Registered Dietitian and currently serve as an active member on the North Carolina Farm to School Board. 

Elkin City Schools School Nutrition Department is committed to providing nutritious, appealing meals that meet the federal nutrition requirements. As studies have proven, good nutrition and learning go hand in hand! We are passionate about educating students on the importance of nutrition and are committed to providing resources for the classroom to enhance the school breakfast and lunch experience for our students. 

I enjoy spending time with my husband, Caleb, my daughter Hallie, my son Jack and my fur baby Dudley. I also enjoy eating at different local restaurants, a good DIY project, and vacationing at the beach or mountains.
