The GLA (Global E-Learning Academy) was designed to offer a virtual setting for families who wanted their children to continue to learn at home.

Although, the GLA was founded due to the need for an online choice for parents during the pandemic, we are excited to continue to offer the virtual option as schools return at full capacity.

We believe that for some children and their families, offering a more flexible option is timely.  We are rebuilding what education looks like.  Not all classrooms have four walls, ours are open the to the world.  

Students are able to explore interests outside the general curriculum, while being instructed by the talented and successful staff of Elkin City Schools.
