Engineering Technologies Open House – April 11

Surry Community College will be holding an Engineering Technologies Open House for prospective students on Thursday, April 11 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the K-Building in Dobson. Learn more about Mechatronics, Machining, Automotive, Construction, Autobody, Electrical Systems, HVAC, Welding and Engineering Design. Viticulture and Enology Open House – April 13
Opportunity strikes! Grape growers and wine makers of the future, mark your calendars for Saturday, April 13, from 2 to 5 p.m. An open house will be held at the Shelton-Badgett North Carolina Center for Viticulture and Enology on Surry Community College's Dobson campus. Surry is the only community college in the Southeast with a licensed and bonded winery and vineyard on site. Pre-registration is required and makes you eligible for a $250 scholarship drowning. Surry Community College will be hosting a College Transfer Open House on April 16 at the Yadkin Center and on April 29 at the Dobson campus from 4 to 7 p.m. Three different information sessions will be offered each night along with interactive displays. Do you see yourself working in robotics or computers for your future career? Surry Community College will host a Computer & Electronics Open House on Tuesday, April 23 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the E-Building in Dobson. Learn what it takes to become a computer programmer, multi-media designer or Electronics Technician. Study to be a project manager with a new certificate program.
