The Elkin Academic Enrichment Foundation is having a raffle on April 4th. Purchase your $100 ticket for a dinner for two at The Liberty and earn yourself a chance to win $5,000. Every 50th ticket drawn will win $100. Dinner begins at 6:00 and the raffle at 6:30. Proceeds will support students at Elkin High School who intend on earning a technical degree from the community college, such as automotive, electronics, construction, engineering or advancing manufacturing. These careers offer interested students a bright future and a great salary. There are three easy ways to purchase a ticket. Stop by the ECS administrative office on West Spring St. and ask for Dr. Cox, stop by Tom Flippen's Law Office on North Bridge Street, located beside the Sonic Auto Sales, or stop by and see John Wiles at Wiles Computing, located under The Liberty on Main Street. These gentlemen serve on the Board of the EAEF and will be glad to help you. Thanks for your consideration and we look forward to raising funds and having a good time doing so on April 4th.
