What is Testing and Accountability?
Welcome to the Testing and Accountability Department!
Elkin City School’s Accountability Department is responsible for all aspects of state testing for the school district that relates to the North Carolina Accountability Model, the North Carolina Accountability Standards, the North Carolina High School Exit Standards and the federal legislation.
These responsibilities include: developing testing calendars, training and monitoring school personnel for test administration, ensuring the quality and integrity of test data and providing critical data to our stakeholders to measure student improvement.
